THE JAPAN PHOTO PROJECT

The Japan Photo Project is a documentary photo project about Japan by Toru Morimoto, Japanese photographer from Hyogo, and Tina Bagué, Catalan photographer from Barcelona. The collaboration between the two photographers started in 2002. In 2010, they traveled all over Japan for 365 days by a motorhome. Completing this 42,000km-long roadtrip all over Japan in 2010, the photography book “JAPAN/日本” was published in 2011, by a publishing house (Folio Club) in Barcelona. Following the photo book, exhibitions “Nippon” were held sucessfuly in Tokyo, Milan, and Barcelona. The photo book is now sold out.
